Stuck Sanders’ Hip Hop Nutcracker

Stuck Sanders’ Hip Hop Nutcracker is a reimagined holiday stage production that fuses street dance, hip hop, and theatrical storytelling to bring a fresh twist to a timeless classic.

I played the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in a cast of all-star dancers from around the world, performing live at the Fox Theater in Redwood City. The show blends original beats, freestyle choreography, and a narrative inspired by the original Nutcracker story — all through the lens of Bay Area culture and movement.

This project highlights the power of dance as both art and education, offering audiences a new way to experience holiday tradition rooted in community, rhythm, and authenticity.
